to take a stand, regardless that he may be alone in the position? Especially me,
Antonio M. Alonzo. I used to say, there is the right way and the wrong way, but
there is my way which is more fun!
Yes, consider this - if you are aware that for the rest of your remaining life, all you
have to have is nothing but pain and suffering or loneliness both for you and your
relatives if you remain alive, would you still want to live? AHA! Yes, you
don't have to tell me your answer, it is obvious. Then, therefore, to live is to be
happy. We live for happiness, and that is what success is about.
And Happiness to Give Happiness is LOVE. <= There, my definition of love!
Anyway, before we veer off the subject of this page (it is 3 am, yes, again), I would like
to declare that I am a moderate to liberal. I am a registered democrat, but that
does not prevent me from voting republican. I believe that unless you are earning at
least 3 to 4 million dollars a year, it would serve you better to vote democrat.
That itself is a can of worms. Don't get me started on that. Email me and maybe we could chat online.
RIGHT TO BEAR
ARMS OR GUN CONTROL?
The right to bear arms should not be limited in anyway. The only result is that the
anarchist (as what happened in the Philippines and other countries where anarchy reigned)
and the criminals are the ones with guns and the law abiding citizen are left
without. Yes, the police force would be safe, but who would protect the citizenry
from the police force? During Marcos days in the Philippines, Police abuses are rampant,
yet at night, when their protection are needed, they abandon the streets for fear of
rebels. So who has the gun? The police and the rebels. Who
suffers? The citizens. In New York, where there are strict gun controls, crimes
committed with the use of firearms are very high. So it is evident that gun control
laws do not help nor are they effective. The cause of the killings in High Schools
is not because of the lack of gun control, although it seems to be an easy and convenient
escape goat. We must find answers, although they may not be easy and not what we
want, REAL answers that would solve the problem. The problem is psychological!
NOT gun control, therefore, the problem itself shows the solution. Not a concrete
target, a little abstract and hard to point to, for politicians, but real solutions come
from honest answers. Email me.
PRO-LIFE OR
PRO-CHOICE?
I am both! Pro choice before
conception, pro-life after conception. Or if you want, pro-choice even after
conception, but has to be the choice of the baby, not the mother! It is not her life
at stake here, you know. She should have known the consequence beforehand. In
cases of rape or incest, or when the mothers life or the baby and mother's life is in
jeopardy? I still am pro-life. There is absolutely no good reason to kill
anybody. Try to save both, and God willing, both will survive. But I do not
condone but rather abhor the conduct of some pro-lifers or Anti-abortionist who are
violent. I believe they are hypocrites. No, I know that they are
hypocrites. It takes a book to talk about all the issues here. I am just
touching the subject….
Are you still sitting on the fence? You have to decide somehow, you just can't let
other people decide for you. Take a stand! But don't just take a stand for the sake
of it! Make it a good one. Study the issues, so no one will make a decision
for you that you wouldn't want.
